For this to work, we will rely on the following tools:
Octopods WhatsApp Templates API - This will help us send message templates via WhatsApp
Twilio SMS account - This will help us send SMS messages
Zapier - We'll use this to bring everything together. Zapier is an integration tool that allows us to build simple connections using a graphical user interface. If you're unfamiliar with it, here's a fantastic introduction from their help center.
Zapier integrations are called Zaps. For a Zapier Zap to work, there needs to be a trigger. In these articles, our triggers will be:
Tag added to user
Tag added to lead
That means our Zapier Zap will run whenever a specific tag is added to a user/lead, or a group of users/leads.
