If you are using Intercom workflows or Fin support with Octopods (excluding buttons), you most likely have the manual data connector block enabled through this article: Integrate Octopods with Intercom Workflows
This feature eliminates the need for that and lets Octopods listens in any Workflow or Fin replies to Octopods conversations. Note: the support for Fin & workflow buttons is still work in progress, so you need to keep the button data connectors in place.
Enabling the Feature
This feature is currently in beta, reach out to us through the bubble down right to enable it for you. Once enabled, head to your Octopods settings page
1. Scroll down & click 'Configure'
2. Enable Allow Fin & Workflow Support
That is it. Any new Fin or Workflow messages will be picked up by Octopods & forwarded to the connect channels in real time.
Depreciating Webhook Data Connectors
Currently, we are still supporting the manual sync from Workflows to Octopods using Intercom Data Connectors (previously, Custom Action).
In the upcoming months as we roll out this feature for all customers. We will disable the Custom Action endpoints. We recommend removing those blocks from any Workflows and enabling this feature instead.
Important Note: We currently in the progress of syncing Workflow and Fin buttons as well. However, until we do, please keep the interactive blocks in use as they are.
