Octopods supports 3 Business Solution Providers (BSPs): 360dialog, Twilio, and MessageBird

If you have your WhatsApp Business number registered with one of these WhatsApp partners, you can connect your number to Octopods right away. Here's how:

But Facebook has almost 100 Business Solution Providers (BSPs), what if you have an account with a partner we don't support?

Previously, changing BSP without losing your number was impossible. Things have changed recently when Facebook granted access to their Phone Number Migration feature to our partner 360dialog.

What is Number Porting/Migration?

If you already have a registered phone number on WhatsApp Business API you can:

  • Move your number between WhatsApp Business API accounts

  • Change BSPs (Business Solution Provider)

But only if the source and destination Facebook Business Manager IDs are the same.

After being migrated, a phone number keeps its display name, quality rating, messaging limits, Official Business Account status, and any high-quality message templates previously approved.

Migration of account includes:

Prerequisites for Number Porting

1. An Octopods 360dialog Partner link:

Please contact us and we will provide you with a link.

2. A Phone Number to be ported to 360dialog:

  • You must be able to receive and verify a 6 Digit PIN Code through SMS or Voice Call.

  • The WhatsApp Business Account connected to the number to be ported must be verified by Facebook. Accounts in Sandbox mode cannot be ported.

  • Two-Factor Verification must be disabled for the number.

3. Admin Access to Facebook Business Manager:

  • Facebook Business ID of the number to be ported.

  • Admin access is required to accept the Message-on-Behalf request.
